Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roads Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning design and delivery of road infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.
Job Description:
- Design and develop road and highway infrastructure projects
- Prepare engineering drawings specifications and technical reports
- Conduct geometric road design and stormwater drainage design
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations and industry standards
- Assist with project planning budgeting and scheduling
- Provide technical support during construction and project implementation
- Proven experience in roads and highway design projects
- Proficient in Civil 3D AutoCAD and related design software
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of geometric road design principles
- Experience with stormwater drainage and road rehabilitation projects
- Ability to prepare technical reports and engineering documentation
- Strong problem-solving communication and project coordination skills
- Knowledge of municipal design standards is advantageous
BEng / BSc / BTech in Civil Engineering
PR Registered with ECSA
