We are seeking a technically strong RF Engineer with experience in RF and microwave design analogue/digital electronics and product development.This role will suit an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and taking products from concept and simulation through to prototype testing verification and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and optimise RF and microwave circuits and systems.
- Perform RF circuit analysis modelling and simulation.
- Develop and review schematics PCB layouts and RF designs.
- Conduct RF measurements testing troubleshooting and fault-finding.
- Work with antennas transmission lines filters amplifiers oscillators and RF front-end circuitry.
- Perform laboratory testing using equipment such as spectrum analysers signal generators network analysers and oscilloscopes.
- Analyse test results and implement design improvements.
- Support prototype development integration and verification.
- Develop technical specifications test procedures and engineering documentation.
- Investigate RF performance issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with electronic embedded software mechanical and systems engineers.
- Assist with design reviews product qualification and compliance testing.
- Support the transition of designs from development into manufacturing.
- Provide technical input into projects and contribute to continuous product improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Electronic Engineering Electrical Engineering RF Engineering or a related field.
- 38 years relevant RF engineering experience depending on seniority.
- Strong understanding of RF and microwave engineering principles.
- Experience with RF circuit design and simulation.
- Practical experience with RF test and measurement equipment.
- Experience with PCB design and electronic hardware development.
- Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge.
- Ability to interpret schematics datasheets and technical specifications.
- Experience troubleshooting complex electronic/RF systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
