HOTEL RESTAURANT MANAGER
Location: Stellenbosch
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Restaurant Manager to lead restaurant operations deliver exceptional guest service and manage a motivated high-performing team.
Only South African citizens currently residing in Cape Town may apply.
Minimum Requirements
At least 5 years experience in Food & Beverage operations including a minimum of 3 years in management.
Proven ability to lead train and motivate a team.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations administration stock control and financial management.
Excellent wine knowledge and a passion for guest service.
Experience resolving guest complaints professionally.
Strong communication organisational and computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
Valid South African identification and a clear criminal record.
A Hospitality Management degree or diploma is advantageous.
WSET/CWA certification is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily restaurant operations and oversee service across relevant hotel Food & Beverage areas.
Maintain exceptional guest service quality hygiene and operational standards.
Lead coach and develop staff managing performance and employee concerns fairly.
Plan and coordinate functions and special events.
Manage budgets costs revenue stock and equipment including controlling breakages.
Oversee shift cash-ups and ensure all outstanding bills are settled.
Maintain accurate pricing and product information on operating systems.
Manage staff schedules timesheets payroll planning and operational reports.
Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and profitability.
