About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing group of companies is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their finance team as a Reporting Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys financial reporting consolidations compliance and working within a complex group structure.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities while partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Manage the group consolidation process across multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Oversee reporting deadlines and ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
- Provide technical accounting guidance across the group.
- Monitor internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support executive management with financial insights and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA).
- 37 years post-articles experience.
- Strong experience in financial reporting and consolidations.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and corporate reporting requirements.
- Experience within a multi-entity or group environment advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Listed company or large group reporting exposure.
- Exposure to complex consolidations and reporting structures.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
