Registered Nurse Renal Qualified (Nephrology)

Our client is seeking a Renal Qualified Registered Nurse to join a specialised renal unit in Knysna. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate nursing professional with nephrologyexpertisewho is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting individuals undergoing renal treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialised nursing care to patients receiving renal and nephrology treatment

• Monitor and assess patients throughout their treatment responding promptly to changes in clinical condition

• Administer prescribed medications and treatmentsin accordance withclinical protocols

• Educate and support patients and their familiesregardingrenal care and ongoing treatment plans

• Maintainaccuratepatient records and ensure compliance with infection prevention and quality standards

• Collaborate with nephrologists and the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes

MinimumRequirements:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing

• Nephrology qualification is essential

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)

• Proven experience within a Renal Unit

• Excellent clinical assessment communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
