Registered Nurse Operating Theatre

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Theatre Qualified Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Operating Theatre team in Johannesburg. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your specialist theatreexpertisewhile contributing to outstanding patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgery

• Perform scrub duties andassistthe surgical team during procedures

• Prepare theatre equipment andmaintaina safe sterile operating environment

• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative journey and support quality clinical outcomes

• Promote infection prevention patient safety and continuous quality improvement

• Collaborate effectively with surgeons anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team

MinimumRequirements:

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing

• Post Basic Qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing

• Minimum of 3 years experience in an Operating Theatre

• Thorough knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and sterile techniques

• Strong communication organisational and interpersonal skills
