Job Summary

Position: Recruiter

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing screening and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within the maritime industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the maritime industry and a proven track record in recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the maritime industry

- Source candidates through various channels such as job boards social media and networking events

- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates qualifications skills and experience

- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers

- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information in our recruitment database

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process

- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and potential candidates

- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment preferably in the maritime industry

- Strong understanding of the maritime industry and its various roles and positions

- Proven track record in sourcing and selecting top talent

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment software

- Willingness to travel as needed for recruitment events and job fairs
