Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Conduct quality inspections on electrical construction projects including overhead lines transmission lines and substations.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications quality plans drawings industry standards and safety requirements.
- Identify non-conformances recommend corrective actions and promote continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain inspection reports NCRs quality records checklists and project close-out documentation.
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System.
- Work closely with project teams site supervisors contractors and clients to ensure quality expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Participate in audits inspections and quality meetings.
Requirements:
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Officer or Quality Inspector within the electrical engineering or construction industry.
- Practical experience on overhead power line transmission line and substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures inspections and project documentation.
- The ability to interpret electrical drawings specifications and inspection test plans.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
- A valid drivers licence.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- A proactive solutions-driven approach.
- A commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement.
