Job Summary

Our client a well-established and respected apparel retailer is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Administrator to join their Quality Assurance team.

This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate records coordinating quality assurance processes and providing exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update QA systems trackers and databases including Fit & Seal audits supplier information and RMS records.
  • Coordinate and update Fit & Seal documentation including seal numbers dates comments and supplier ratings.
  • Schedule supplier audits confirm bookings and capture audit outcomes.
  • Track and manage the movement of all garment samples ensuring accurate records of samples received returned and dispatched.
  • Capture Fit & Seal comments during review sessions and ensure garments are processed and sealed correctly.
  • Prepare print and distribute QA documentation ensuring all approvals and sign-offs are obtained.
  • Scan save and maintain electronic and hard-copy records using established filing systems and naming conventions.
  • Maintain QA reports workbooks and documentation received from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the packing and dispatch of samples to suppliers and maintain accurate shipment records.
  • Ensure all quality assurance documentation is accurately filed and readily accessible.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Quality Assurance department including travel and fleet administration where required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • A relevant administrative qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 12 years administration experience preferably within a manufacturing retail quality assurance or production environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and strong computer literacy.
  • Experience working with databases or tracking systems would be beneficial.
