Role Overview

The Property Administrator will manage the administration of an assigned property portfolio including lease administration tenant accounts collections reconciliations and cashbook processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate tenant files lease records and account information.
  • Process tenant billing invoices receipts adjustments refunds and account corrections.
  • Ensure rental recoveries and statements are accurate and issued on time.
  • Manage tenant collections payment follow-ups disputes and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain strong tenant relationships and resolve queries professionally.
  • Monitor arrears manage payment arrangements and escalate overdue accounts where required.
  • Process accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate vendor records.
  • Perform cashbook processing and bank-to-ledger reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve allocation errors discrepancies and reconciling items.

Requirements
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric) required.
  • Finance/Accounting qualification will be advantageous.
  • 23 years experience in Debtors Accounts Receivable or similar finance administration role.
  • Experience using SAGE for invoicing allocations statements age analysis and account maintenance.
  • Strong debt collection and credit control experience.
  • Property portfolio administration experience (tenant billing collections arrears reconciliations) advantageous.
  • MDA property management system experience beneficial.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP pivot tables reconciliations).
  • Strong attention to detail organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with tenants and stakeholders.
