Are you an experienced Electrical Projects Engineer looking to take ownership of large-scale power infrastructure projects
A well-established engineering company is seeking a motivated Projects Engineer to manage the successful delivery of electrical infrastructure projects across the Western Cape. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading projects from planning through to completion.

Job Description:
- Manage electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion
- Oversee the construction and commissioning of substations distribution substations and overhead line projects
- Coordinate project planning scheduling and resource allocation
- Manage contractors site teams and project stakeholders
- Monitor project budgets timelines quality and safety compliance
- Ensure projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Prepare technical reports project documentation and progress updates
- Conduct regular site visits and provide technical support throughout project delivery
Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing electrical infrastructure or power distribution projects
Strong knowledge of Low Medium and High Voltage systems
Experience with substations distribution networks and overhead lines
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to project sites
Qualification:
- Minimum NQF Level 6 in Electrical Engineering or higher
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
