Project Manager Water

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of municipal water infrastructure projects. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineering professional with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of managing complex civil engineering projects from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects from initiation to close-out.
• Develop project scopes schedules budgets and delivery plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams contractors consultants and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards engineering specifications and client requirements.
• Oversee contract administration in accordance with FIDIC NEC or GCC contracts.
• Manage project budgets cost control forecasting and change management.
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and environmental regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients municipalities and key stakeholders.
• Prepare project reports facilitate meetings and oversee project handovers.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Professional registration as Pr CPM with SACPCMP will be advantageous.
• 510 years experience within civil or water infrastructure projects.
• 35 years experience in a project management capacity.
• Experience delivering municipal water infrastructure projects including pipelines pump stations and treatment works.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies budgeting scheduling and contract management.
• Excellent communication leadership organisational and problem-solving skills.
