Job Summary
RPO Recruitments client a reputable Building and Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan manage and deliver construction projects safely on time and within budget.
- Develop and monitor project programmes using MS Project.
- Coordinate project teams subcontractors consultants and suppliers.
- Manage project costs budgets cash flow and commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual quality Health and Safety and environmental requirements.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Chair project and site meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management Building Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional registration with SACPCMP (essential).
- Minimum 10 years Project Management experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing building and/or civil construction projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project (MS Project).
- Valid drivers licence (essential).
- Strong leadership planning communication and stakeholder management skills.
