Project Manager (Mining Industry Experience Multi-Disciplinary Project Management Engineering Project Management) – Africa

Our client a leading player in the mining sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of projects while leading an assigned team of Project Engineers and Administrators in line with the company's specifications and standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will develop and guide their project team to consistent delivery while working closely with design drafting quality logistics and finance to keep projects moving. The Project Manager carries end-to-end accountability for project outcomes from cost and quality through to freight and site works.

• Management of Freight and Site Works

Requirements:Qualification and Skill

• Chemical Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy degree; Project Management qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering and project experience.
• Proven ability to execute and manage projects in collaboration with Senior Management.
• Strong project management supervision organisational time management and leadership skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge of engineering principles applicable codes policies standards and industry best practices.
• Proficient in computer applications design and visualisation software with strong technical skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple-discipline projects make sound decisions and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
