What you will be doing:
  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end planning implementation and delivery of software and financial systems projects ensuring adherence to quality timeline and scope standards.
  • Drive Agile delivery frameworks across project workstreams facilitating daily stand-ups sprint planning backlog refinement and retrospectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key client stakeholders and internal delivery teams maintaining open communication channels and providing regular progress updates.
  • Proactively monitor project progress against key milestones identify potential delays early and implement corrective measures to keep delivery on track.
  • Identify track and manage project dependencies risks and blockers ensuring swift resolution to support development teams.
  • Champion delivery best practices and continually contribute to improving project management workflows and standards.

What our client is looking for:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma in IT Business or Finance) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in financial systems and software development environments.
  • Proven hands-on Agile project management experience (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Knowledge and experience within the Trust and/or Pension / Retirement Fund industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
  • High level of enthusiasm adaptability and dedication to successful outcomes.
