Professional Structural Engineer / Technologist
Candidate Requirements
Takora Human Capital is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Professional Structural Engineer / Technologist to join their Cape Town team.
This opportunity is suited to a technically capable structural professional who can work independently contribute to project delivery and confidently engage with clients contractors and multidisciplinary professional teams.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng)
Minimum 2 years verifiable post-registration experience
Experience in planning design and contract administration
Experience managing projects from inception to completion
KEY PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Experience in the following will be advantageous:
Bulk water reservoirs
Water treatment works
Stormwater management infrastructure
Water-retaining structures
Reinforced concrete framed structures
Steel framed structures
Building and engineering projects
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
Experience with:
Master Series or Prokon
Microsoft Office Suite
Microsoft Project
AutoCAD
Revit advantageous
BIM / ACC Docs & ACC Build advantageous
