Job Summary

Our client is actively seeking an experienced and strategic Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a high-volume fast-paced monogastric and ruminant feed environment in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with exceptional relationship management skills and a proven ability to optimize production efficiency.   • Technical & Operational Expertise: Production Management Line Productivity Optimization (OEE) Line Performance Analysis ISO Standards Knowledge Monogastric and Ruminant Environments and Reporting.
  • Performance & Leadership Traits:
    • Leadership & Coordination: Strong leadership abilities paired with excellent operations coordination planning and organizing skills.
    • Resilience & Critical Thinking: The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining sharp critical thinking and attention to detail.
    • Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills a knack for building positive work relationships and stellar people relationship management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4.
  • 5 Years of managerial experience.
  • Valid RSA drivers license with own transport.
  • Strong knowledge regarding ISO standards.
  • Advantageous: 5 Years of Customer Service experience in an animal feed industry.
  • Advantageous: Knowledge within the animal feed production industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations in a high-volume and fast-paced monogastric and ruminant environment.
  • Ensure the production of products is done with strict adherence to the companys established policies and procedures.
  • Actively improve line productivity (Overall Equipment Effectiveness - OEE) by analyzing line performances and taking the necessary corrective actions.
