Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise manufacturing and production processes.
- Identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement process enhancements to improve quality and throughput.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and support process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Collaborate with production quality maintenance and engineering teams.
- Develop process documentation procedures and work instructions.
- Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and operational standards.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng or BTech in Chemical Mechanical Industrial Metallurgical or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 to 8 years experience in a process engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of process optimisation methodologies.
- Experience within manufacturing mining processing heavy industry or related sectors.
- Proven track record of driving measurable process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Advantageous Experience
- Lean Manufacturing.
- Six Sigma methodologies.
- Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Project Management experience.
- Data analysis and process modelling.
- Exposure to automation and process control systems.
