Duties & Responsibilities

The company supports project development through process design metallurgical test work technical consulting and feasibility study execution for a range of mineral processing operations

Responsibilities:
- Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Modelling: Develop mass balances process models and PFDs for mineralprocessing projects supporting feasibility studies optimisation work and earlystage plant design.
- Equipment Selection & CAPEX Inputs: Perform equipment sizing and selection including preliminary capital cost estimates for processing equipment and plant systems.
- Plant Layout & Flow Efficiency: Provide technical input on plant layout design to ensure optimal equipment arrangement and efficient process flow.
- Laboratory & Pilot Test Work: Plan execute and evaluate laboratory and pilotscale metallurgical test campaigns ensuring highquality data and accurate interpretation of results.
- Technical Investigations & Troubleshooting: Conduct process investigations identify inefficiencies and recommend practical engineering solutions to improve recovery performance and reliability.
- Process Audits & Technical Reviews: Participate in audits and consultations for operating plants and new developments providing insights for performance improvement and risk mitigation.
- Technical Documentation & Proposals: Prepare process descriptions scopes of work and supporting documentation for proposals project bids and engineering studies.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Process Engineer in mining / mineral processing
- Degree: BEng or BSc in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering.
