Principal Bridge Engineer

Our client is a leading infrastructure consulting and engineering organisation delivering complex multidisciplinary projects across transportation buildings water energy and environmental sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Bridge Engineer to take a leading technical role within a highly skilled engineering environment contributing to major transportation projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years relevant experience in civil/structural engineering including appropriate site experience
• Education: Degree in Civil Engineer (Postgraduate studies in Structural and/or Bridge Engineering will be advantageous)
• Professional registration with ECSA or an international equivalent
• Proven track record in bridge and structural engineering design preferably across major transportation projects
• Extensive experience in the design of bridges culverts and other road and rail structures
• Experience with bridge and culvert inspections rehabilitation and upgrading of existing structures
• Knowledge of international standards such as AASHTO AREMA Australian Standards and British Standards will be advantageous
• Experience with structural design software such as Midas Sofistik RM Bridge or CSiBridge will be advantageous
• Experience working on projects in North America or Australia will be favourably considered
• COTO Bridge Inspector accreditation will be advantageous
