Reporting to: Area Supervisor

Location: Killarney Gardens Cape Town

Purpose of the role:

Perform a variety of manual food preparation and assembly duties to produce a variety of ready meals.

Key Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preperation and Assembly.
• Prepare a variety of ingredients such as meats vegetables sauces or desserts according to the product recipe and supervisors instructions to use in meal assembly.
• Check quality of ingredients.
• Weight or measure ingredients according to recipe.
• Cut and portion ingredients according to recipe.
• Manually assemble meals according to recipe in provided containers.
• Inform supervisor/team leader when equipment is not working properly and when food and supplies are getting low.
• Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Operating equipment.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Senior Certificate
