An established building services and consulting engineering firm is looking for a Professional Fire Engineer to lead complex fire safety and compliance projects across commercial industrial and infrastructure developments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Education:

BEng Mechanical Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Extensive fire engineering design experience
Experience in building services consulting
Knowledge of local and international fire regulations
Strong client-facing and project leadership capabilities

Duties:

Lead fire engineering projects from concept through construction and final handover.
Develop performance-based fire engineering solutions for complex developments.
Design fire detection suppression and smoke management systems.
Conduct fire risk assessments evacuation modelling and compliance reviews.
Liaise with local authorities fire departments and stakeholders to secure approvals.
Prepare fire engineering reports specifications and technical documentation.
Review architectural and mechanical designs for fire safety compliance.
Provide specialist guidance on passive and active fire protection systems.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical quality assurance processes.
Participate in business development and client relationship management activities.
