Platform Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking a Platform / Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes AWS and containerisation experience to support modern cloud-native workloads. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys automation infrastructure reliability and building platforms that enable development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with AWS including services such as EKS VPC S3 RDS IAM Fargate Lambda and CloudFront.
• Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Solid Kubernetes experience particularly EKS.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration including networking ingress and RBAC.
• Strong understanding of containerisation and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS DevOps tooling.
• Experience with Helm and/or Kustomize.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or CDK.
• Experience with Kubernetes GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Monitoring and observability experience using technologies such as Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch X-Ray or OpenTracing.
• Linux experience.
• Understanding of distributed systems and architectures.
• Exposure to programming languages such as Python Go Java or JavaScript.
