Leading FMCG company. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with technical skills and a commitment to safety quality and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with planned and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Complete job cards maintenance checklists and related documentation accurately.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas.
- Take ownership of designated facilities and uphold company standards.
- Report non-compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in standby duties and respond to callouts when required.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ hygiene PPE and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Be available for overtime as operational needs require.
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- N3 Mechanical or Electrical qualification.
- Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in an FMCG environment.
- Mechanical electrical piping and plumbing experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and standby shifts.
