Job Summary
We are seeking a Personal Lines Underwriter to join our team in Benoni. Reporting to the Underwriting Manager the successful candidate will prepare quotes assess risks arrange inventories and manage post-loss activities. This role involves managing retentions renewals and building relationships with brokers and clients.Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing quotes.
- Determining risks and premiums based on client profiles.
- Arranging inventories and liaising with clients on inventory outcomes.
- Post-loss and corrective action on policies following claims.
- Managing retentions renewals non-payment of premiums cancellations confirmation of cover letters and insurance certificates.
- Integrating TIG Administration products with client portfolios.
- Building and maintaining relationships with brokers clients insurers and service providers.
- Staying up to date with insurance regulations and trends.
Requirements

- Qualifications: RE 5 Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4 Matric Class of Business - Personal Lines
