Payroll Internship 12 Month Contract

Job Description

The successful candidate must be able to function well in a diverse team. This person must be able to multitask prioritise and be able to work under pressure.

Duties and responsibilities for the first semester:

• Facilitate induction
• Manage Payroll counter
• Manage Payroll telephone
• Terminate employees records - resignations
• Finalise resignation packs
• Update and maintain employee records
• General admin duties

Duties and responsibilities for the second semester:

• Scanning and filing
• Quality checking
• Checking and signing off the documents from HR and other department
• Capturing of staff information
• Update and maintain employees record
• Assist with creating payroll imports
• UIF application forms and communication
• Ad hoc payroll duties
• General admin duties

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA in business administration or BCom in Human Resources or similar relevant field

Experience:

• MS Office Advance MS Excel (advantageous)
• Exposure to Payroll environment (advantageous)

Take note to qualify for an INSETA Internship program you need to:

• Be a South African citizen
• Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
• Be between the ages of 18 & 35
• Unemployed in the last 2 months
