Payroll Analyst

Our client a large diversified investment holding company operating through a shared services model is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their People team in Stellenbosch. With multiple entities and complex reward structures under one roof this is payroll with real analytical teeth.

Youll take ownership of end-to-end processing for selected monthly payrolls of 400 -employee and multiple entities working closely with the Payroll & Benefits Officer as each others backup and quality check. Beyond processing youll dig into payroll and reward data build reports and dashboards and turn numbers into insights that actually influence decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process assigned payrolls on Sage 300 People with full accuracy and deadline compliance
• Conduct advanced reconciliations and resolve discrepancies at the root cause
• Build and interpret payroll/reward reporting and management dashboards
• Support increase bonus benchmarking and share vesting cycles with solid data prep
• Assist with UAT for system and platform changes
• Ensure compliance with PAYE UIF SDL and COID requirements

What Were Looking For

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• 5 years relevant payroll experience ideally multi-entity or shared services
• Solid grasp of SA payroll legislation and benefit fund administration
• Sharp analytical skills paired with intermediate-plus Excel ability
