Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management & Administration
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to payroll processes reporting and accounting systems.
- Overseer and enhance payroll and HRIS systems.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management regarding payroll performance.
- Comanage the full payroll function from start to finish across multiple payrolls.
- Maintain compliance with payroll laws regulations and tax computations
- Manage payroll processing for a large employee complement.
- Oversee payroll reconciliations and audit processes.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly payroll reports.
- Compile executive-level payroll reports and management information.
- Analyze payroll data and trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and timely submission of payroll information.
- Ensure adherence to payroll legislation tax regulations and company policies.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within payroll operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll information.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Lead and manage payroll teams effectively.
- Provide coaching mentorship and performance management.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Drive accountability and high-performance standards within the payroll function.
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or Business Management is typically required
- Relevant Payroll Finance HR or related qualification advantageous.
- Minimum 810 years management experience within payroll environments.
- Comprehensive end-to-end payroll knowledge and experience.
- Experience managing high-volume payroll environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple payroll structures.
- Sage 300 knowledge and experience is essential.
- Strong reporting and analytical capability.
- Advanced computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency.
