About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pavements and Materials Engineer to join our Tshwane team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated engineer to provide technical support for transport related project in South Africa Greater Africa and the Middle East.
Role Responsibilities
- Project Management (design and consultancy projects).
- Pavement engineering designs (mechanistic-empirical).
- Asphalt mix design seal design stabilization design (cement/emulsion/NME/etc).
- Data management and basic coding experience preferred.
- Road condition assessments construction material source investigations (quarries borrow pits etc).
- Measuring and scheduling of tender and construction quantities.
- Drafting of project specific construction specifications (COLTO and COTO based).
- Competent technical report writing and client interaction skills.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng /MEng or BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering.
- Candidate Engineer with ECSA with evidence of registration progress.
- Minimum of 4 years experience within the pavement and materials or related field.
- Possess a current and valid motor vehicle driver license.
- Software proficiency to typically include: Rubicon cncPave mePads FAARFIELD AIRPAVE etc.
