Job Summary

Responsible for the operation monitoring and maintenance of solar PV plants to ensure optimal performance safety and compliance with industry standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on solar PV systems.
  • Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities performance data and spare parts inventory.
  • Support plant upgrades modifications and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with contractors suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems inverters transformers and switchgear.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and OHS requirements.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Results-driven with attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 35 years experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites.
