Job Summary

Responsible for the operation monitoring and maintenance of solar PV plants to ensure optimal performance safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on solar PV systems.
Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities performance data and spare parts inventory.
Support plant upgrades modifications and performance improvement initiatives.
Liaise with contractors suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems inverters transformers and switchgear.
Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
Familiarity with electrical safety standards and OHS requirements.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Results-driven with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 35 years experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites.
