Were seeking a strategic Senior Operations Engineer with relevant IT Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience and proven expertise in Kubernetes CI/CD GitOps and cloud operations with strong ITIL process knowledge

The ideal candidate has hands-on understanding of Kubernetes deployment and configuration over Helm Pipeline Setup and Automation using Github Actions Infrastructure as Code & GitOps tools like ArgoCD and monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki

Demonstrable experience with ITIL Operation processes (Incident Problem Change management) public cloud providers e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS and worldwide rollout projects is essential

Strong Agile and DevOps mindset with ability to work independently influence without direct command and support global GROUP Group production monitoring and predictive maintenance systems is critical

Lead and maintain CI CD and GitOps pipelines manage Kubernetes deployments and config and implement monitoring solutions driving automation and operational excellence for IPS-T production monitoring

Become the Senior Operations Engineer guiding mission-critical plant operations where your technical vision will improve breakdown monitoring manage complex integrations and deliver transformational value across Production Monitoring Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring

• Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work Experience

Essential Skills Requirements

Technical:

• Kubernetes Deployment and Configuration over Helm
• Pipeline Setup and Automation (e.g. Github Actions)
• Infrastructure as Code & GitOps tools like ArgoCD
• Experience with ITIL Operation processes (Incident Problem Change management)
• Experience with public cloud providers e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS
• Monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki
• Version control and branching strategies (Git)
• Linux and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash)
• OPS Design Patterns
• Data Driven Architecture
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model AWM Charter

Agile and DevOps:

• Take part in regular Scrum meetings via MS Teams. Daily Planning Estimation Refinement Review Retro
• Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain as per the updates required by the respective feature team or teams
• Confluence / Jira

Stakeholder Management:

• Influence (Effect change without direct exercise of command where persuasion is required and reaching buy-in might be difficult)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate with team members

Soft Skills:

• Problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and keen attention to detail or time management
• Completely independent worker that will only escalate tasks that are complex and outside of their span of control
• May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts

• Kafka Knowledge
• Agile Working Model (AWM)

Role Requirements

• Operations and Support:
• Incident- Change- and Problem Management support
• Monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki
• Support existing solutions DevOps

Delivery and Configuration:

• Setup and maintain CI CD and GitOps pipelines
• Setup and maintain deployments
• Kubernetes Deployment and Config
• Specify new products processes standards based on organization strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans
• The requests are often unclear and will need substantial investigation to ensure that the specifics are well understood by all parties
• Support and implement worldwide rollout projects (migrate old system to new one)

Continuous Improvement:

• Improve a product or a system that already exists by making conceptual changes and enhancements
• Can manage the solution for complex problems that may require simple solutions but affect multiple systems

Documentation and Knowledge:

• Create and maintain Solution Guides
• Ensure Knowledge Transfer within team
• May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts
