Operations and Client Liaison Officer Paarl

A leading financial services group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations & Client Liaison Officer to join its team at its Paarl head office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting foreign exchange operations international payments client services financial administration and day-to-day operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor foreign exchange markets and prepare daily market updates.
Support foreign exchange trade execution trade capture and settlements.
Process international payments and liaise with banking partners.
Assist clients with foreign exchange banking and transaction-related queries.
Perform KYC verification and support FICA AML and regulatory compliance.
Process foreign currency transactions and complete cash reconciliations.
Assist with financial administration invoicing and debtor follow-ups.
Provide operational support for card services and financial systems.
Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and process improvements.

Requirements:
Experience in financial services banking foreign exchange or a related operational role.
Good understanding of international payments and financial markets.
Knowledge of FICA AML KYC and exchange control requirements.
Strong numerical analytical and reconciliation skills.
Excellent communication and client service abilities.
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
High attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Advantageous:
Experience with financial or trading systems.
Knowledge of Xero Hubdoc Bloomberg Reuters or similar platforms.
RE5 qualification and FICA/AML training.
