Operational Excellence & Enablement Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Operational Excellence & Enablement Manager to play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement operational efficiency and strategic project execution within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on identifying opportunities for improvement implementing sustainable solutions and enabling operational success across the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve productivity quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable operational plans.
• Develop and maintain performance frameworks dashboards and KPIs to track operational success.
• Oversee and drive large-scale cross-functional projects ensuring successful execution and delivery.
• Conduct research benchmarking and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Implement systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency and execution.
• Facilitate training coaching and workshops to embed continuous improvement principles across teams.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration accountability and change.
• Monitor industry trends emerging technologies and best practices to support ongoing operational innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field (Masters Degree advantageous).
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma PMP or Prince2 will be advantageous.
• 25 years experience within manufacturing operations with a strong focus on continuous improvement and project management.
• Proven experience delivering operational transformation and improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• High levels of integrity reliability and professionalism.
• Self-motivated energetic and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence.
