About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead and grow our events and décor business in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wedding décor event styling antiques and client relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations generating new business opportunities maintaining client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of high-end events.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Johannesburg branch.
• Plan coordinate and execute weddings corporate functions and special events.
• Consult with clients to understand their event requirements and provide creative décor solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct client presentations site visits and event consultations.
• Prepare and present quotations proposals and event plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers service providers and venue partners.
• Manage event setup styling décor installation and breakdown.
• Monitor budgets and ensure events are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
• Stay informed about industry trends wedding décor innovations and event styling developments.
• Maintain and manage décor inventory including antique and specialty items.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Events Management Hospitality Management Marketing Business Management or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in event management.
• Proven experience in wedding décor and event styling.
• Strong knowledge and appreciation of antiques and luxury event décor.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition.
• Experience managing events from concept through execution.
