National Key Accounts Manager

Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a National Key Accounts Manager to drive growth across key retail pharmacy and healthcare wholesale accounts. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional who thrives on building strategic partnerships negotiating high-value agreements and delivering sustainable revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic national key account plans aligned to business objectives.
- Drive sales growth revenue profitability and commercial execution across pharmacy and healthcare wholesale customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers buyers wholesalers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing trading terms rebates discounts returns and contractual agreements.
- Manage customer contracts ensure compliance and oversee day-to-day account performance.
- Monitor customer stock levels and collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise inventory management.
- Analyse market trends competitor activity and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage trade spend budgets and customer investments to maximise commercial returns.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports while effectively managing month-end commercial processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Sales or a related qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales or Key Account Management including at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven experience within the FMCG pharmacy healthcare or wholesale environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel and business intelligence reporting experience.
- Strong negotiation influencing and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to interpret market data and translate insights into successful commercial strategies.
- Highly organised detail-oriented and able to perform in a results-driven environment.
