Millwright (Utilities) 24-Months FTC

• Perform planned preventative and breakdown maintenance on site utilities and infrastructure.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment supporting utility services and plant infrastructure.
• Carry out maintenance on medium voltage installations overhead cranes boilers pressure vessels and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct inspections and statutory compliance checks on utility equipment.
• Support maintenance projects equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards engineering procedures and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in risk assessments and planned shutdown activities.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and equipment records.
• Promote safe work practices and high engineering standards.

• Grade 12
• N3 or higher in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• Millwright Trade Test Certificate
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Millwright (Post-Trade) within the mining industry
• Minimum 3 years experience with medium voltage (MV) switching
• Experience maintaining utilities and site infrastructure within a smelter environment
• Experience with overhead cranes boilers and pressure vessels
  
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

• Salary: R600K - R720K P/A
