Job Summary
A prominent SANAS-accredited Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) verification agency is seeking a Mid-Senior OutSystems Developer who will drive low-code innovation and build high-impact enterprise applications as part of our expanding engineering team.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Delivery: Lead the design development testing and deployment of enterprise applications across OutSystems and ODC platforms.
Architecture and Integration: Participate in technical reviews and architect integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms via REST APIs.
Performance and Governance: Maintain high standards of code quality performance optimization application security and OutSystems governance.
Agile Collaboration: Partner closely with business analysts stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine and execute technical requirements.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers share domain knowledge and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
OutSystems Expertise: 3 to 5 years of hands-on OutSystems development experience including proven background with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) and Reactive Web Applications.
Certifications: OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer certification (minimum).
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience consuming and exposing REST APIs along with strong SQL and relational database skills.
Delivery and SDLC: Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
Problem Solving and Communication: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills paired with strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Certifications: Additional OutSystems credentials such as OutSystems 11 or ODC-related certifications.
Cloud and Integration: Experience working with Azure cloud-native environments or complex enterprise system integrations.
DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
