MEPF Co-Ordinator

Our client is seeking an experienced MEPF Co-Ordinator to join a Cape Town-based building project on a contract basis. The successful candidate will bring strong Mechanical or Electrical expertise sound construction knowledge and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure MEPF systems are delivered efficiently and to the required standards.

Requirements:

• Education: National Diploma or BTech/Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 35 years experience in MEPF coordination particularly across Electrical and Mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical building codes regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit or other relevant MEPF design and coordination software.
• Sound understanding of construction processes and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to interpret and analyse technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and industry practices.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on construction environments.
