The successful candidate will contribute to large-scale industrial projects across the mining metallurgical and heavy industrial sectors.
Duties & Responsibilities
Education:
- Draughting Qualification or CAD Certificate
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- SolidWorks proficiency
- Experience within gas cleaning process plants or bulk material handling industries
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
- Knowledge of pressure vessels ducting systems and structural layouts advantageous
- Ability to produce accurate manufacturing and installation drawings
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop layouts for gas cleaning and air pollution control systems
- Produce ducting piping structural and equipment arrangement drawings
- Generate manufacturing packs and installation documentation
- Prepare bills of materials and technical specifications
- Assist engineers with process plant and equipment design
- Support design reviews and engineering calculations
- Ensure compliance with industry and environmental standards
- Coordinate drawing revisions and project documentation control
- Collaborate with project procurement and manufacturing teams
- Conduct drawing quality checks and maintain drafting standards
- Assist with equipment integration into industrial process facilities
