Materials Coordinator

• Coordinate and monitor end-to-end materials management activities.
• Ensure timely availability of consumables bulk materials and critical spares.
• Coordinate cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and minimise stock variances.
• Create and maintain stock and non-stock material records in SAP.
• Coordinate material reconciliations and cost centre charge-outs.
• Monitor inventory levels reorder requirements and demand planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain compliance with SHEQ and governance requirements.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies and irregularities.
• Supervise and coordinate Stores personnel and contractors.
• Monitor performance attendance and employee development.
• Support the achievement of departmental KPIs and operational objectives.

• Grade 12
• Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Procurement Materials Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Materials Coordinator within the mining industry
• 3 years supervisory experience within a materials management or warehousing environment
• Experience with materials planning scheduling and inventory management
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control principles
• Experience with materials receiving issuing and reconciliation processes
• Working knowledge of SAP MM and Material Master Data management
