South Africas leading online retailer is looking for a highly talented Marketplace Sales Intern to join our Cross-Border eCommerce team.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

N6 / NCV in Business Management Marketing Sales or related field

The skills we need:

• Computer Literacy
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Data interpretation and presentation.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce or online marketplace platforms (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and Looker or similar BI tools (advantageous).

Key responsibilities:

• Support Business Development Admins (BDAs) with day-to-day administrative tasks seller correspondence and account management activities.
• Prepare clear reports dashboards and presentations to communicate sales performance seller metrics and marketplace insights to stakeholders.
• Collect analyse and interpret sales seller and marketplace data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Assist in maintaining seller records onboarding documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor seller performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in identifying improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations Supply Chain Logistics Catalogue and Customer Experience.
• Support the coordination and administration of promotional activities deal submissions and catalogue updates.
• Participate in problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes proposing practical solutions and supporting implementation.
• Assist with seller onboarding support listing quality checks and ensuring data integrity across marketplace systems.

This is an 18-month contract
