Job Summary
Randburg. Exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join a leading luxury homeware supplier. The successful candidate will have a Diploma / Degree in Production Management Fashion Manufacturing or Textile Technology with 58 years experience in textile or soft furnishings manufacturing managing production teams cutters machinists and CMT partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations including cutting sewing finishing and packaging
- Manage in-house production and external CMT partners to ensure production targets and deadlines are met
- Maintain exceptional quality standards through in-line and final inspections
- Coordinate production schedules materials equipment and production readiness with planning and product development teams
- Lead train and develop production staff while promoting continuous improvement
- Manage raw materials WIP and finished goods conduct monthly stock takes and support ERP (Sage) processes
- Drive process improvements monitor production performance and support lean manufacturing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Production Management Fashion Manufacturing Textile Technology or similar
- 58 years experience in textile or soft furnishings manufacturing
- Experience managing cutters machinists and CMT partners
- Strong knowledge of luxury manufacturing standards and quality control
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong leadership planning and organisational skills
