Manager, Sustainability & Compliance

To lead and manage the implementation enablement integration monitoring and reporting of Sustainability (Environmental Social and Governance ESG) initiatives across Standard Insurance Limited (SIL) as a primary focus ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements Group frameworks and industry best practices.

The role is accountable for enterprisewide ESG enablement acts as SILs primary ESG management focal point and provides senior oversight advice and coordination (BAU and once-off project initiatives) of climate and sustainabilityrelated initiatives.

The secondary focus is the management and enablement of ESGrelated and sustainabilityrelated regulatory compliance in partnership with the secondline Compliance function including emerging regulations and existing obligations.

Qualifications :

Type of Qualification: Degree
Field of Study: Environmental Sciences/Management Law Compliance Risk Management Insurance Finance Sustainability or related field.

Experience Required                                                                                                                                                8-12 years 
ESG / Sustainability leadership experience with track record of implementing sustainability initiatives and providing sound expertise.                                                                                                                              Insurance Risk Compliance experience
Senior stakeholder committee and regulatory engagement experience
