As our new Maintenance Technician you will play an important role in maintaining the reliability safety and performance of distribution center equipment facility systems and warehouse automation. Working closely with Operations and Maintenance team members you will perform preventative maintenance troubleshoot equipment issues support repairs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. What your day will look like

In this role you will typically focus on:

Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
  • Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors printers scanners lifts robotics material handling systems and warehouse automation equipment.
  • Inspect maintain troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and automation systems.
  • Replace wear components including belts rollers bearings sensors motors and other equipment parts.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and support timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting motors drives sensors gearboxes conveyor systems and related equipment.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Continuously develop technical expertise to support increasingly complex equipment and systems.
Facility Maintenance
  • Perform basic facility maintenance activities including minor installations electrical and plumbing repairs drywall patching and fixture maintenance.
  • Support building upkeep and ensure facility systems remain operational and safe.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) machine guarding and facility safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of workplace safety and operational excellence.
Operations Support
  • Deliver responsive maintenance support to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Partner with Operations teams to prioritize maintenance activities and support productivity service and safety goals.
  • Communicate equipment status maintenance activities and repair needs effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency.
What youll bring
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Maintenance experience technical training military technical experience or demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn maintenance procedures equipment diagnostics and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to perform a physically demanding job including:
    • Lifting 50 pounds or more.
    • Working at heights.
    • Standing and walking for extended periods (6-8 hours per shift).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Associate degree technical certification trade school education vocational training or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience supporting warehouse automation conveyors sortation systems AutoStore ASRS or other material handling equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic or control systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs HMIs VFDs and industrial controls.
  • Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
