Job Summary
Are you a qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner with strong experience in machine building and assembly This opportunity offers exposure to complex packaging machinery handson technical work and the chance to travel both locally and internationally for installations and commissioning.
Job Description:
- Assemble packaging machines from detailed engineering drawings
- Carry out full machine builds including setup fault finding and testing
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to ensure optimal machine performance
- Conduct installation and commissioning of machines on customer sites locally and internationally
- Provide troubleshooting maintenance and aftersales technical support
- Perform strict quality inspections to ensure machines meet required standards
- Work independently and within a team to meet production timelines and quality expectations
- Trade Tested Fitter or Fitter & Turner (N2N3 minimum)
- Minimum 7 years experience in machine building within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience assembling testing and commissioning machinery
- Experience with packaging machinery (liquid packaging highly advantageous)
- Willingness to work overtime and travel extensively (locally and internationally)
- Valid Code B drivers license
- Trade Test Fitter or Fitter & Turner (N2N3 minimum)
