Job Summary

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Learner: Business Analyst & Data Manager within the IT Department. This is an office-based role based in George or Cape Town with a strong focus on computer-based work.

If you have a passion for technology data business processes and problem-solving this role offers practical exposure to database administration business intelligence workflow automation analytics and data governance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your career in Business Intelligence Data Analytics and Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with database administration and routine system maintenance.
  • Perform data cleansing validation de-duplication and quality audits.
  • Maintain accurate data across CRM systems Zoho applications and operational databases
  • Gather operational data and assist with mapping business processes and workflows.
  • Update and maintain dashboards reports and business intelligence tools.
  • Analyse data to identify trends gaps risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support data governance user permissions and system compliance.
  • Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports for management.
    Learn SQL workflow automation and low-code technologies under the guidance of the CTIO.
  • Liaise with internal departments while maintaining confidentiality and POPIA compliance.



Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Pre-tertiary level)
  • School-level Computer Science / Information Technology (Highly Advantageous).
  • High school Mathematics Accounting or Business Studies (Advantageous)


Minimum Experience:

  • Entry-level learner position (no prior work experience required).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new systems tools and technologies in a fast-paced digital environment.



Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Interest in technology business systems data analytics and process improvement.
  • Willingness to learn SQL business intelligence workflow automation and low-code platforms such as Zoho.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
