We are seeking a creative detail-oriented Landscape Designer / 3D Design Specialist with expertise in residential outdoor living design to support a premier Arizona landscape design and installation firm specializing in high-end resort-style residential environments.

In this seat you will take full ownership of turning homeowner requirements rough sketches property measurements and aerial site data into polished 2D plans and photorealistic 3D visual models. Functioning as a key asset in our sales and estimating pipeline your primary objective is to produce client-ready visually compelling presentations that allow prospective clients to clearly visualize their finished outdoor living spaceshelping elevate brand authority streamline client approvals and drive higher bid-to-close rates.

1. 2D/3D Landscape Design & Photorealistic Visualization

• 3D Environment Construction: Build detailed photorealistic 3D models and client-facing renderings using Vip3D (or equivalent landscape platforms) accurately modeling terrain hardscapes custom pools outdoor kitchens pergolas fire features water features lighting and artificial turf.

• Concept Translation: Translate rough sketches hand drawings site photos and property measurements into clean accurate 2D site plans and spatial layouts.

• Material & Plant Styling: Select and customize Southwestern/desert-appropriate plant palettes hardscape textures materials and lighting features to build cohesive high-end outdoor living environments.

2. Sales & Proposal Design Support

• Bid Visualization: Create compelling visual presentations and 360 renders that clearly communicate project scope and value during competitive homeowner bids.

• Rapid Client Iterations: Execute fast responsive design revisions based on owner or client feedback during active sales cycles.

• Upsell Integration: Thoughtfully incorporate secondary outdoor living features (e.g. specialized lighting custom fire pits luxury shade structures) to showcase broader project potential.

3. Construction Documentation & Digital File Hygiene

• Plan Set Generation: Produce construction-ready 2D drawings layout plans material legends plant schedules and dimensioned line-item callouts for in-house installation crews.

• Data & CAD Import: Import and utilize DWG/DXF files aerial imagery and property survey data to build precise project basemaps.

• File Management: Maintain organized cloud-based digital asset libraries for active and completed project designs.

• Professional Experience: Proven track record in residential landscape design landscape architecture or high-end outdoor living design.

• Portfolio Requirement: Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential landscape projects 2D plan sets and realistic 3D renderings.

• Primary Software Proficiency: Deep expertise using Structure Studios Vip3D (or direct proficiency in VizTerra Pool Studio SketchUp Pro Vectorworks Landmark or AutoCAD with a willingness to operate within Vip3D).

• Landscape & Construction Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential hardscaping grading planting logic outdoor structures materials and spatial functionality.

• Communication & Sales Mindset: Strong written and verbal English communication skills with a commercial understanding that high-quality visual designs serve as core sales tools.

• Time Zone Alignment: Full availability to work dedicated part-time hours aligned with standard US business hours.

• Hands-on experience designing Southwestern / Arizona desert landscapes and hardscape features.

• Prior experience using Structure Studios Vip3D for high-resolution path tracing lighting animation and video presentation outputs.

• Experience producing line-item material callouts and automatic quantity takeoffs directly from design software.

• Sales Pipeline Velocity: Rapid turnaround times on converting initial project briefs and owner sketches into client-ready 3D proposals.

• Design Accuracy: Delivering 100% accurate 2D site plans and construction layouts that reflect real-world site constraints and material specs.

• Closing Conversion Rate: Elevating proposal presentation quality to directly contribute to higher bid-to-close rates on high-value residential projects.
