Junior Structural Engineer – Port Elizabeth – Consulting Engineering

A well-established engineering firm is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join its team in Port Elizabeth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineer with 68 years experience strong structural design exposure and the ability to independently manage and deliver projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong Civil Engineer who has developed solid structural engineering experience and is now capable of taking ownership of projects independently. Exposure to a diverse range of residential commercial and industrial projects will be highly advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng Civil Engineering or BSc Civil Engineering preferably with a specialisation/focus in Structural Engineering.
• 68 years relevant engineering experience.
• Proven structural design experience.
• Ability to independently manage and run projects.
• Exposure to a variety of project environments preferably including:
• Residential
• Commercial
• Industrial
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles design and project delivery.
• Excellent technical analytical and problem-solving abilities.
