Job Summary
Leading FMCG company is currently recruiting a Production Supervisor in the meat processing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the end-to-end production process including trimming grinding mixing packing wrapping and labelling.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications quality standards and presentation requirements.
- Monitor production efficiency productivity and cost control.
- Manage stock rotation and inventory within the production area.
- Implement and maintain production procedures that support operational excellence.
- Identify and address quality or maintenance issues ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Maintain food safety hygiene SHEQ and OHS standards.
- Manage attendance discipline and employee relations.
- Resolve production quality and maintenance issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a FMCG environment.
- Strong leadership planning and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of production processes.
- Meat processing experience will be advantageous.
