Junior Millwright

We are seeking a Trade Tested Millwright with 3 - 5 Years FMCG experience to support maintenance in our clients Western Cape facility.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned preventative and breakdown maintenance

Diagnose mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic faults

Maintain and repair production machinery and plant equipment

Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures

Assist with equipment installations upgrades and commissioning

Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation

Ensure all work complies with health safety and quality requirements

Minimum Requirements

Matric

Millwright Trade Test

3 - 5 Years experience in a manufacturing environment

Food/ beverage FMCG experience

Mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability

Knowledge of PLC fault-finding will be advantageous

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively within a production environment
